Trina Simone Bryant, also known as “Daughter of Zion”, has been a follower of Christ for many years. Once rapping in the secular arena, her conversion came while stationed in Friedberg Germany. She surrendered her life to Christ and began using her gift toward her life experiences and applied the word of God to minister through song.
Daughter of Zion has traveled throughout the United States and Europe proclaiming and ministering God’s word in a way in which only she can. Since her first solo project, “Kingdom Minded”, Daughter of Zion has shared the stage with many gospel artists around the world. From being selected to open for the Grammy nominated gospel artist Kierra “KiKi” Sheard during the “Memorial Concert” to the Holy Hip Hop Awards, Daughter of Zion has been there. Most recently, she was recently nominated for the 2010 Black Essence Awards.
Simone and her husband Bernard are the proud parents of two daughters, Dorothy and Chasmin. The Bryant Family worships at Faith Mission Ministries Inc. in Clarksville, TN, under the leadership of Bishop Harold K. & Prophetess Gwen Browning, where Simone was ordained as a Minister-in-Training into the gospel in December 2010.
In addition to ministering in the Gospel Hip Hop arena, Simone is dedicated to serving and ministering to her local community in support of Christian unity, youth, outreach events and conferences.
